Viewing Hidden Comments on Myspace

This has been around for some days but its still worth an article. Myspace users have the option to hide their comments and friendlist from other users. With an easy workaround it´s possible to view them even though the user did activate the hidding feature.
To do this, you need to take a look at the address bar when viewing a users profile. You should find a parameter friendid=number.
Use this number to manually load the page that is hidden:
Update: Please note that it is no longer possible to view hidden comments on the social networking site MySpace. The method may have worked fine for some time, but the developers in the meantime have definitely put an end to it with updates they have rolled out in past years.
When you visit MySpace right now, you will also notice that the site uses a different url structure than before. This may be partially responsible for the change.
Since you are interested in all things MySpace, I thought it would be nice to list a few of the MySpace tips and tricks that we have posted here on Ghacks in past years.
Lets start with the MySpace login guide which provides you with information on how to secure your MySpace account, and how to resolve situations like losing access to the associated email account, or forgetting the user password.
This guide explains how you can add pictures to your MySpace account, either by uploading them to MySpace, or by using third party image hosting sites.
Keep in mind that the functionality of websites on the Internet may change at any point in time, and that features and methods that worked fine before, may stop working as a consequence.
Update: It is no longer possible to view hidden comments on MySpace.
