How to block the Internet access using Kaspersky Firewall

To block the access to the Internet for a certain application, create a rule for that application in the Firewall settings. Follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings window of Kaspersky Total Security.
  2. In the Settings window, go to the Protection section and select Firewall in the right frame.

  1. In the Application network rules window, right-click the application for which you would like to block the access to the Internet, and select Details and rules from the context menu.

  2. In the Name section, enter Web-Browsing.

  4. Click Save.

Select the Block action, enter the name Web-Browsing, select the Log events check box, and click Save

  1. The created rule will appear in the Application rules tab with the Deny action status.
  2. In the Application rules window, click Save.

Click Save.

  1. Close the Application network rules window.
  2. Close the application window.
